No. We provide translation services exclusively for companies and organizations.

What language combinations do you offer?

Our main language pairs are English ↔ Brazilian Portuguese, English ↔ Latin American Spanish, and German ↔ Brazilian Portuguese. We also work with other combinations upon request. Please contact our team to share your project details and confirm availability for your language pair.

What file types can you translate?

What’s the difference between sworn and certified translations?

Sworn translations are performed by public translators officially registered with a State Commercial Board in Brazil. They carry legal weight and are accepted by public and legal institutions. Certified translations, on the other hand, are completed by professional translators and include a signed statement affirming the accuracy and completeness of the translated content, without requiring official recognition. We offer sworn translations in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

What is a Translation Memory (TM)?

A Translation Memory (TM) is a secure bilingual database created specifically for your company. With each completed project, approved segments are saved and reused in future translations. This ensures consistent terminology across your materials and reduces costs, as we apply discounts for segments already stored in your TM.

What certifications does Wordloc hold?

Wordloc is ISO 17100-certified and ISO 18587-certified. We are also a member of Swedcham (Swedish-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce) and ABRACRO (Brazilian Association of Contract Research Organizations).

Are Wordloc translators native speakers?

Yes. All of our translators are native speakers of the target language—they translate exclusively into their mother tongue.
